Web Design & Build-out

Converting Designs to XHTML & CSS

Sometimes, it's easier for a company to purchase a PSD (Adobe Photoshop Document) template from a website or designer because they can visually see what their site will look like when it's completed. Many designers and companies will still charge regular rates (most even charge a minimum amount of hours) even though the project has been half completed. As an experienced media developer, I can cut your PSD templates and implement the design into pre-built content management systems or custom code your entire website depending on your needs. I DO NOT charge a minimum amount of hours on PSD projects. For example, if I accept your project, I don't automatically charge you for a minimum of 10 hours. If the project only takes me 5 hours to complete, I only charge for 5 hours. This can save you an average of $125 compared to the "other guys."

Wordpress Themes & Wordpress as a CMS

It can ultimately be said that Wordpress has conquered the blog network with their free open source blogging platform. What most people don't know is that Wordpress can be used as a CMS (Content Management System) to run an entire website - not just the blogging parts! Using the newest version of Wordpress, and some of the most popular plugins available, I can create you a stellar website that you can easily update from any computer! You will be able to add users who are allowed access to the back-end and even track all of your user data using Google Analytics. Many Wordpress themes are available on the web for free. A large amount of sites even offer premium themes available to download at a specified price. The problem I have with these theme templates is that anyone can download them after you. Imagine how your company would look to people if they went to your website and immediately noticed your site was a replica of 2 other sites they have visited previously? It could possibly cause confusion and most importantly hurt your reputation. If you choose not to purchase a pre-built Wordpress template from any of the template sites around the web, I can create a custom design that will implement flawlessly to your Wordpress CMS and will be exclusive to your company.
